Hello Friends!
The Lawn Fawn Design Team is happily sharing their creations today to promote The Operation Write Home Blog Hop! If you don’t know about Operation Write Home, it’s a special organization that collects homemade cards to give to deployed soldiers for them to give to loved ones back home! Isn’t that a worthy cause!?
If you’d like to find out more about Operation Write Home, you should definitely visit their website HERE!

This time, Operation Write Home challenged us designers to use their various card sketches. Here’s the one I used:

I used Lawn Fawn’s Chevron Backdrops, Fanciful Frames, and Hello Friend stamp sets to create my card! My color inspiration came from the following challenge from Embellish Magazine:

AND, IF YOU ARE HERE FOR THE GIVEAWAY….
I have an entire pack of Bazzill Basics Paper’s Card Shoppe 100# cardstock in all 28 colors to giveaway to a lucky commenter! This cardstock is awesome for all you cardmakers out there that love thick cardstock! It also has a nice tooth to it to absorb ink quickly. I used Robin’s Egg, Cotton Candy, Gummy Bear, and Banana Split to create my card!
Just comment on this post for a change to win! And, don’t forget to check out The Lawn Fawn Blog for more Operation Write Home Sketch inspired creations
