Hello Blogosphere!
I hope everyone enjoyed their long holiday weekends! My husband and I were sick the entire weekend, so lots of naps with the kiddos, our ever-so-patient kiddos! Here are two more projects I created for Lawn Fawn’s Fall/Winter 2014 Release Week!
You can see the FULL reveal HERE!

Hello Blogosphere!
This past weekend I had the privilege of traveling from NOLA to Chi-town for The Scrapbook Expo! There, I demo’d and taught everyone what I knew about the Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft® products with The Rubber Cafe!
This was my 3rd or 4th time traveling to a Scrapbook Expo & I really enjoyed my time in Chicago. If you’ve never been to a Scrapbook Expo, The Rubber Cafe is a store that travels with the Expo. They offer the entire product line of Design Memory Craft®:
Everyone loved the NEW Gelatos® Steam Punk, Whipped Spackle, Glass Bead Glitter Gel, and the Glaze! I tried my hardest to teach new & varied techniques with the Gelatos®! The 34-piece Gift Set sold like hot-cakes:
Here are the Steam Punk colors:
And of course, a trip out of town wouldn’t be complete without a visit with fellow Designers & Crafty friends:
Ruza & Margie
Beth & Latrice
After our Chipotle dinner! Yum!
I absolutely love what I do! Even if that means I have a cold for 3 days afterward 😉

Hello Blogosphere!!!
I have a funny (it wasn’t funny at the time) story about this Snow Day layout! Earlier in the month the Lawn Fawn Catalog was due, which means everyone on the Design Team gets together to create projects for the catalog for stores! It’s always an exciting, yet hectic couple of weeks.
Well, this was also the time my brother was returning from his deployment, so I frantically put together what I could for the layout and packed all my supplies for the road. I’d be making a 19-hour drive to El Paso to welcome my brother home from Jordan! I had everything packed! I had a plan, too! While my mom drove, I would finish the little details on the layout & then photograph it for Kelly as soon as I got to El Paso…easy peasy.
Then I asked my husband to load the van with everything I’d packed. It wasn’t until I was half-way across Texas that I realized my camera was missing……my papers were missing….oh no….my paper cutter, too! He’d packed everything BUT the crafty essentials! GAH!
So, Chris (my husband) spent an evening putting together the layout as best he could, he photographed it for Kelly, and then Kelly did an AWESOME job of putting it together on her end for the catalog. Talk about stress. Poor Kelly.
Anyways, here is the layout I didn’t really make! It was a 3-person job 😉

Hello Blogosphere!
How was everyone’s 4th of July weekends? I spent last week driving 18 hours to El Paso for my brother’s Welcome Home Ceremony! He just returned from a 9-month deployment, so I was eager to see him and guess what?! He even came home a wee bit earlier than expected! SCORE! Here’s a picture of me (red, left) with my mom & brother:

Needless to say, the 4th of July was a BIG deal around these parts 😉 After a grueling 18-hour or more trip back home, I helped set-up for our neighborhood BBQ and it was a BLAST!
