This week I’m hosting the Mix-Ability Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.com & today’s challenge, MIX127, is about all things Red, White & Blue in honor of Independence Day tomorrow! I had so much fun getting messy with these little wooden spool firecrackers!
View the Video Tutorial below to see how I’ve incorporated melted beeswax (which smells heavenly, BTW) and Gel Medium!
So, what do you think? Ready to melt some beeswax? Or at least create something Red, White & Blue?? I sure hope so! Make sure to upload your creations using keyword MIX127 on splitcoaststampers.com!
It’s starting to feel like fall around these parts (New Orleans, LA)! It’s actually dipping down into the high 60’s & there’s been a cool breeze in the evenings! I thought I’d mark this special occasion by making all things fall the theme of this week’s Mix-Ability Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.com!
For this week’s Mix-Ability Challenge, MIX87, I’m encouraging everyone to incorporate Signs of Fall into their creations! For more details & to participate, GO HERE!
What’s a crafty girl to do when all her supplies are boxed up?
KEEP IT SIMPLE.
I used a Tim Holtz Die-cut negative, some modeling paste, a stamp, and washi tape to create the card above for the Splitcoaststampers.com Mix-Ability Challenge, Texture Love!
Here’s a video tutorial I created for you:
Here’s another simple card I made using the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Dots® Mini Permanent Adhesive! I simply added it to one side of the twine before forming the swirls.
Thankfully, my walk-in closet is complete and I can enjoy having all my supplies at my fingertips! I’m still working out the kinks in my light kit set-up, but it’s almost there
Here’s my walk-in closet space. I just need to add some art work to the blank wall and I’ll be set
Today, I have two cards to share with you & together they showcase 5 different ways to incorporate watercolor into your stamped images! And, that’s this week’s Mix-Ability Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.com!
Go check it out HERE! I even have a video tutorial for you over there!
I love the Mix-Ability Challenges because they’re such a fresh approach to Mixed-Media I also love that I can pull out some of my favorite oldie but goodie stamp sets & create for FUN!
