Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog! You’ve probably come from Jen’s blog and your next stop is Edna’s Blog.

My card uses two different stamp sets to dress up both the outside and the inside! I used Very Vintage Labels No. 4 and L’il Buddies! L’il Buddies has TONS of adorable punny sayings!

Quick & Easy Valentines

Quick & Easy Valentines

So, my boys have their Pre-K Valentine’s Parties today. If you follow me on twitter or facebook, you know that I was going to buy the “cool” character Valentines. But, then I opted to go with my original plan in making them :) Besides, this is one of the last years I can get away with it ;)

One & Three: Dum Dum Flowers (tissue paper, rotary cutter, cutting mat, dum dums, green florist tape)

  1. Layer 4 sheets of tissue paper. Cut into 6×6 squares.
  2. Fold each stack of squares 4 times (like you’re going to make a snowflake) and trim excess to create a flower shape.
  3. Stick dum dum through the tissue paper layers.
  4. Twist a little of the paper around the area where the wrapper meets the stick.
  5. Adhere green florist tape starting at the top.

Two: Fruit Snack Packets (Spellbinders Labels 9 Nestabilties, Die Cutting Machine, Waltzingmouse Stamps, Perfect Match Ink, Scor-pal, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher)

  1. Stamp image and sentiment on die.
  2. Fold in half. Score.
  3. Wrap around top of fruit snack packet.
  4. Staple.

With the help of a friend, I’m not able to upload video onto my computer from my JVC HDD :) I will be posting a video tutorial soon! EEEeeeeeek!

Valentine’s Day Cards: Waltzingmouse Stamps and Practicing Creativity

Last week, my mom commissioned me to make for her 4 Valentine’s Day Cards- one for her man and 3 for her lifetime BFFs! I love making guy cards!!! The Waltzingmouse “Sweethearts” Stamp Set and the Practicing Creativity “Key To My Heart” Stamp Set work wonderfully together as they have the same themes and almost the same fonts!

  • Waltzingmouse Stamps, Sweethearts (sentiment)

  • Perfect Match Ink
  • PTI Ribbon
  • CTMH brad

For my mom’s BFF’s cards, I chose to layer 3 hearts to represent each friend!

Bright & Bold

I took my sweet time coloring with copics :)

Queen Kat Designs is giving away one stamp to someone that makes something Bright & Bold, well that’s my specialty!!!! The card above uses The Character Cafe Poinsettia! I took lots of time and love with those copic markers of mine and stitched around the image :)
