It’s Hump-Day and I thought I’d share two favorite new-to-me techniques! Both are on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog and the first one is a Melted Paper Crafter Crayons technique where you heat up a wood panel in the oven before gliding on your crayon art! I loved using the Glasses Stencil for this technique because I was at a complete loss on how to incorporate that stencil into my artwork!
The 2nd technique is brought to you via YouTube video! It’s a Stenciled Negative Background technique and you can view it HERE!
I hope you enjoy these two tutorials & don’t forget to leave some love
It’s HOT and Sunny in New Orleans, so there’s no better day than today to get out those shades! Today, I have a photo tutorial up on the Design Memory Craft Blog showing you how to create your own Custom Stencil Art!
I adore this doodled look & hope you do too! You can view the complete tutorial HERE!
Also, did you know that today is National Coloring Book Day?! IT IS! There’s a HUGE giveaway on the Facebook page!
Hello Blogosphere! Today, I have a Gelatos Color Chart to share with you! This chart includes all 52 colors currently available, including the new 15pc sets and Designers Colors! You can print out the JPEG image about OR you can download the PDF below.
Make sure to change the orientation of your paper in your print options to “landscape”, choose borderless 8.5″ x 11″, and scale to fit. Choosing these options will ensure you get the entire spreadsheet on the page. If you’re still having problems, email me
Also, I highly recommended having this photo copied or laser printed so that the ink doesn’t run when you add your Gelatos colors!
Here’s my FIRST broadcast on Periscope featuring the Gelatos Color Chart:
The quality for Periscope isn’t up-to-par, BUT it was fun!
I have a NEW Video Tutorial up on the Sizzix Blog today! It showcases the Big Shot Plus along with some dies created especially for the Big Shot Plus! You’ll even learn one of my favorite Mixed-Media Techniques using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos!
