Hello Everyone!!! It’s that time again… I ordered my July 2013 Stitch Fix and this box is BY FAR my most favorite! Everything was at my price points and right on target style-wise!
Wait…what? You don’t know what Stitch Fix is? It is a personal stylist service sent straight to your door every month!
1st, you will out a style profile noting your price preferences, dislikes, etc.
2nd, you pay a $20 non-refundable stylist fee that automatically is applied to your purchase.
3rd, then you schedule the date you want it shipped to you by.
4th, try everything on.
5th, purchase what you like & send back what you don’t like in a pre-paid shipping bag! If you purchase everything in your Fix, you get 25% off!
6th, to take it to the next level, at a Stitch Fix board to your Pinterest account, follow Stitch Fix, and your stylist can really get a grasp of your style! Follow them on Instagram, and you get behind-the-scenes looks at the goodies
I love it because I’m a former consignment shop, 2nd-hand store, vintage clothing FIEND…with 3 kids, a part-time gig as a designer, full-time gig as an Army wife to a deployed soldier, and gym nut, I don’t have time! Can I get an Amen? I just don’t have time to dress smart and trendy like I used to. BUT, Stitch Fix has come to the rescue and I get compliments on every single item I’ve purchased to date! I love the little cards with styling tips…they’re a god-send.
On to the July 2013 Fix…
First Impressions? Everything is priced right. THANK YOU for no $198 dresses I love and can’t afford
When I saw it in the box it was not love-at-first-sight! I didn’t have the right pants to pair with it either (pastel skinnies), so I was like ehhhh… Then, I tried it on and fell in love! It’s a little big, but I think these tops are supposed to be big to pair with skinny jeans or peg-leg pants.
Pros: Fit, Perfect for summer, priced at $48.
Cons: I’ve seen similar tops priced significantly lower (but lacking the quality of this one).
Yay or Nay? It’s a Yay for me!
Because of the horizontal stripes, I was leery…but this top is AMAZING! I love that you can wear it tucked or untucked. My bottom-heavy body prefers it tucked 😉
Pros: Colors, Embroidery is REAL not painted, fit, $48
Cons: None, it’s perfect in every way
Yay or Nay? An astounding YAYYYYY!!!!
Pros: Color is beautiful, you can certainly dress this up for a night out or for work (pencil skirt), fit is perfect, shape, $48
Cons: It’s perfect!
Yay or Nay? YAYYYYY!!!!
Pros: This dress is so very me (a little quirky, artsy, and cute), can be belted, $58
Cons: A wee bit big & I don’t have cute shoes to match 😉
Yay or Nay: Yayyyyyy!!!!
Pros: Beautiful, Perfect Color, elegant, classy
Cons: A little too big in the waist, but I can have it taken in!
Yay or Nay: YAYYYY! This will be my Welcome Home Ceremony dress Thanks Stitch Fix!
Overall, I am SUPER happy with this July 2013 Fix! I’m keeping it all… Happy Birthday to ME! LOL!

June 30, 2013 at 20:51 (2 years ago)good for you! i only kept one thing after my third box – which was worse than my second, where i kept two things. they must not have had anything in stock for what i asked for, cause i didn’t get any of it. (chambray shirt, flannel shirt, pencil skirts) the prices were better though. i think i am going to challenge them on the next one and request no shirts at all. i want to see some bottoms! do you get jewelry sent to you?
