1st Stitch Fix {behind the scenes-unedited}

stitchfix-1355586177_600Stitch Fix Review

Alas, my first Stitch Fix arrived!!! It came only a few days after it left the stylist’s hands!

What is Stitch Fix?

Only a genius idea. Think Shoedazzle minus the stripper shoes 😉 It’s just 500 times better! You fill out a profile, take a short quiz, and Stitch Fix Stylists plug away at sending you one-of-a-kind fashion pieces and accessories! NO TWO FIXES are alike, so they’re really tailored to your unique style.

How does it work?

You pay a $20 Stylist fee which goes toward your fix purchase, they send you 5 pieces USPS Priority Mail, you try them on, and send back the items you don’t like in a prepaid USPS Priority Mail Bag within 3 days of receiving the box.

Cost?

Within the initial profile and quiz, you set the budget for the Stitch Fix pieces! My pieces ranged from $48-$68. Receive 25% if you purchase your entire Stitch Fix!

Drawbacks?

If you don’t like anything in your Stitch Fix Box (which will never happen), you lose the $20 stylist fee.

Positives?

I love the personalization! You can further personalize your stylist experience by following them on Pinterest & setting up a Pinterest Board labeled “Stitch Fix” on your own Pinterest account. Your Stylist will see your picks and customize your Fixes that much more!

Here’s my personal experience:

(photos are unedited. note: the messy bed and work-out hair)

1. The box comes with instructions written on the insides. Everything is carefully wrapped, comment card (with a set of instructions) included-

2. Each item comes with a style card. This is my first item & it’s a keeper! $58

6. My final item. I had NO clue I would love this as much as I do! I’ve been working on my muscle tone. Can’t wait for these arms to get in better shape! Something to aspire to… It’s a keeper! $58

    I love what I see! Especially that yellow shirt, you look so gorgeous in it!! Ok, you’re gorgeous by yourself, but it’s really pretty! I agree with you in your choices :) I wanted to try this and even filled a form but then I discovered that they don’t ship internationally… Blergh! I’m so jeaouls now, haha!

    Stitch Fix is SO MUCH FUN! I never imagined how excited I’d be when discovering all the fashion finds in the box. I’m definitely a fan. Love your looks! I think they all look great! And I LOVE those polka dot jeans you have on too! 😉
