Dream Big

Happy Sunday!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekends! After this weekend’s back-to-back blog hoppage, I was in the mood to create something a little different from my norm. Something a little more on the delicate side, but still in keeping of my funky-trendy style. Here’s what I came up with!

I stamped the Stampendous Flower Fields stamp with the Stamper’s Big Brush Marker in Nougat onto Claudine Hellmuth’s natural canvas, then I die-cut it with a nested shape die from Quikutz, and colored it in with various Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils (yellows) with a wet paint brush to blend. The last thing I did, was add some more color with a Brush Tipped PITT Marker in Cadmium Yellow to the flower centers. Easy peasy!

Thank YOU for all the HUGE response to my blog hop creations. It really means a lot! Especially, since I’ve woken up with morning sickness all weekend- BLAH!

Here’s a snapshot of my Sous-chef, Liam:

This kid rarely focuses on anything for a long period of time, but you put him in the kitchen as my helper or in front of some sort of building blocks and he’s content for days! He was very very grumpy upon waking up from his nap yesterday and the only way to cheer him up was to get him in the kitchen helping me! Gotta love that… What’s next? The laundry!!! Brilliant!

Thanks for dropping by,
